Alisson Becker(born October 2, 1992) is a Brazilian goalkeeper who plays for Liverpool FC in the English Premier League and the Brazilian national team. Alisson Becker's rise to fame in the field of sports did not happen immediately. He is now the FIFABest Goalkeeper in the World. Alisson has been preparing since he was ten years old to become one of the greatest goalkeepers in the country. In this edition of biography stats, upbringing, profession, net worth, and personal life, we look at Alisson Becker, who is currently making waves in the English Premier League.
Alisson's desire to be the best goalkeeper in the world has driven him to fight intensely for the top goalkeeping position at different clubs where he has played. The competitive nature saw him beat his older brother, who is also a goalkeeper, for the goalkeeping spot at Internacional. His ambition to be number one prompted him to compete for the top goalkeeping position at Internacional with Jesus Silva, better known as Dida, a former ace Brazilian goalkeeper. With his youth, quickness, and athleticism, Alisson defeated the star goaltender to retain the number one position, a remarkable achievement for a youngster.
Another interesting thing regarding Alisson Becker, the Brazilian goalkeeper, is that he was elected FIFA Goalkeeper of the Year in 2019. He was also the first recipient of the Yashin Trophy. He is regarded as one of the world's top goalkeepers.
He made 100 appearances for Internacional and earned 12 Campeonato Gachos. Muriel, his older sibling, was also a student at the academy. One curious thing about Alisson is that watching his brother practice inspired him to become a goalkeeper.

Alisson Becker Biography

Alisson is reported to have been found by Daniel Pavan, goalkeeper coach at Internacional. “He used to come to Muriel's sessions with him. Then everyone will give him a footballto play with and have some fun with.
And he began to display a keen interest in his brother's job. Having his brother practice inspired Alisson to pursue a career as a goalkeeper. He was a member of the Inter scheme when he was ten years old. He had also begun to demonstrate technical abilities that set him apart from other children his age.
However, Alisson's parents believe that his development as a footballer has been poor and that he, unlike his sibling, does not have a future in football. “He was a little thinner and chubbier,” Pavan recalls. He wasn't a starter or even a first-time substitute.
People could see, though, that he had technological skillsthat set him apart from the others. We realized he was going to grow up and achieve some height, and with that, he would get leaner, thanks to our department's research on him.”
However, after his parents saw that he was not participating in the games, they decided to keep him away from football. They believed he had little chance as a player. They believed it was a waste of time. He had to miss school on occasion to participate in several tournaments. That occurred when he was 12 years old and on the verge of turning 13. They came over to talk to me. They believed Alisson should devote himself to his studies because they saw him in here every day and believed he was not benefiting from it.
Alisson's parents' financial status didn't improve matters either. Jose, Alisson's dad, was unemployed and didn't want him to pursue his schooling. Despite this, Pavan was adamant about Alisson's potential and technological ability. Overall, his parents were persuaded and allowed him to remain. Becker added 16 centimeters in height during the next two years and was named to the Brazil national team as a starter.
This was the beginning of his illustrious career. Internacional was where Alisson spent his formative years. He was sold to Roma for €7.5 million and a five-year contract after spending four years of his senior career there. Since he was Wojciech Szczesny's understudy, he only made 15 appearances in the first season. Since Szczsny left for Juventus, Alisson was able to make the team.
Alison later admitted that he might have quit Roma if he hadn't been assured of further first-team opportunities. On August 17, 2016, he made his Roma debut, starting in a 1–1 UEFA Champions Leaguedraw with FC Porto. Throughout the 2017–18 season, Alisson was lauded for his efforts.
During the 2017–18 season, he held 22 clean sheets, including 17 in the league and five in the UEFA Champions League. AS Roma host Atletico Madrid in the group stages of the 2017–18 Champions League.
Alisson's incredible placement and delivery in that match drew the attention of the whole nation. Throughout the contest, he maintained a clean sheet, and the game ended 0–0. The next season, Liverpool paid a world record €72.5 million for Alisson.
Becker is the most costly goalkeeper in history, surpassing Ederson and Buffon in the process. However, the mark was smashed only a month later when Chelsea paid €80 million for Kepa Arrizabalaga.
When I moved up from the youth team to the first team at Internacional, it was a gamble – they were almost banking on me making it, Alisson said of the transitions. Similarly, when I moved from Brazil to Roma, there was some danger involved, but when Liverpool signed me, there were a lot of certainties.
I recognize why certain people think it's a ridiculously large sum of money; I understand that, but what matters to me is the burden that has been put on me. I'm coming off my best season ever, and I'm looking to improve even further this year. I was the most costly goalkeeper in the world at the time, and I was soon followed by Chelsea's Kepa. I'm not worried about it. I've already worked very hard, and regardless of the amount of the transfer charge, I'll continue to do so.
