El legendario exarquero René Higuita, habló sobre su actualidad con Atlético Nacional, tras hacer parte del equipo profesional.
René Higuita, quien actualmente hace parte de Atlético Nacional, dio unas declaraciones para el programa Vbar de Caracol Radio en la que contó detalles de su actualidad y aseguró que está contento con el rol que tiene en la institución.

«Mi sueño siempre era llegar a Atlético Nacional. Cuando me preguntaban decía: ‘yo quiero ser para Nacional lo que Di Stéfano fue para Real Madrid’. Ahora estoy en el puesto que siempre quise. No tengo sino agradecimiento por Atlético Nacional que me ha dejado cumplir este sueño», aseguró René Higuita.
El exarquero de la Selección Colombiay del mismo Atlético Nacional, reveló también cual era su secreto para atajar penaltis, algo por lo que también fue destacado a nivel nacional e internacional.
«Si el jugador se paraba de una manera para que el penal fuera a mano izquierda yo le seguía la corriente para que pateara a ese lado», manifestó Higuita.
Actualmente René hace parte del grupo formativo de porteros de Atlético Nacional, luego de que saliera del cuerpo técnico del equipo principal con la llegada de Juan Carlos Osorio.
