Inter Miami Wins

Drake Callender made five stops as Miami advanced to 10-0-1 in all competitions since Messi's debut on July 21. The streak included a Leagues Cup victory over Nashville SC in the final on August 19.
Inter Miami (7-14-4, 25 points) bounced back from a scoreless draw against Nashville on Wednesday, improving to 2-0-1 in MLS action under Messi. LAFC (11-8-7, 40 points) avoided a shutout with a goal from a set piece in the 90th minute from Ryan Hollingshead.
For the defending MLS Cup winners, who are now third in the Western Conference, John McCarthy made three saves. Denis Bouanga's close-range attempt in the 11th minute nearly put LAFC ahead, but Callender knocked the ball away with his clinched right palm.
Farias opened the scoring for Inter Miami in the 14th minute with a diving shot from just inside the penalty area following a long through pass from midfield by Tomas Aviles. Farias scored his first goal for Inter Miami in his third match and second start.
Messi had a great goal chance in the 38th minute, but McCarthy blocked his left-footed attempt from near the penalty spot. Alba scored from the middle of the penalty area following a long through ball from Messi in the 51st minute to make it 2-0.
Campana clinched the victory with a left-footed goal off a Messi cross, capping off a two-on-one burst. Messi's assists were his first in MLS regular-season play. For the first time, Inter Miami began all six of their summer recruits together: Messi, Farias, Aviles, Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Diego Gomez.
Prince Harry of Wales, actors Owen Wilson and Leonardo DiCaprio, musician/actress Selena Gomez, and comedian/actor Will Ferrell, who is part of the LAFC ownership group, were among those in attendance in Los Angeles.

Selena Gomez And Her Viral Reaction To Lionel Messi Shot

Selena Gomez is now a new memebecause she couldn't hide how she felt when Lionel Messi was denied a goal by keeper John McCarthy in an amazing way. During the MLS game between LAFC and Inter Miami, the cameras were on the star of "Only Murderers in the Building."

This was a famous crossover that no one saw coming. When Messi's shot was saved by LAFC goalie John McCarthy, Inter Miami didn't get a 2-0 lead. Gomez was interested in the game, as her eyes opened and her jaw dropped at what she had just seen. She wasn't the only one, as rapper Tyga, who was standing below her, had the same look on his face.

Final Words

Since then, the brief clip of Gomez has caused plenty of reactions from fans of the singer/actor and footy supporters alike who noted its meme potential.
In the end, Inter Miami triumphed 3-1 thanks to goals from Facundo Farias, Jordi Alba, and Leonardo Campana, while Messi was denied a goal. Messi joined Inter Miami in June of this year after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
